Leadership

 The Emerging Global Leaders of Jamaica (EGLJ) programme is a youth Leadership Development programme a key initiative of  the Alliance of Jamaican Alumni Associations Inc.(AJAA) in Toronto Canada, the umbrella Jamaican Alumni Association in Canada. The MHS Toronto Alumni Chapter is a member of the AJAA.

Several of our students have benefited tremendously from this initiative through workshops on mentorship, networking and other leadership development activities  held in Canada and Jamaica.  These have facilitated  youth leaders’ personal growth and helped to implement other innovative series of programmes locally.

The increased participation among young people  assist in generating ideas for youth activities and in meeting community needs.

Social impact is targeted through effective and sustainable youth projects carried out by local youth leaders with support to equip and empower Jamaica’s future youth leaders.
