The Manchester High School Global Alumni Network (GAN)
is united, global family.
Thank you for visiting our site. We exist to support Manchester High School, Jamaica—especially vulnerable students—through group and individual philanthropy that strengthens the school and builds character. Our diverse, motivated members include chapters, year-groups, and individual philanthropists in Jamaica and worldwide, working together to advance the school’s success. Over the years we’ve led many development initiatives—not for recognition, but to contribute to nation-building. We welcome current students and alumni to join us, ask questions, share knowledge, and support our work.
MHSGAN Secretariat

Since the mid-1970's several Alumni Chapters and Year Groups were formed in response to a need for energetic, synergistic, humanitarian non-profit work in giving back to our Alma Mater.
This experiment assures capacity building and realization of optimal potential among young people enrolled and graduates of Manchester High School.
The Alumni have consistently worked to provide sensible solutions in favour of academic, physical and mental development, as well as fostered a culture and sense of belonging and connectedness.
We have consistently grown since then, and have morphed into a network that functions as a global team, tasked to develop and implement processes, procedures, tools and controls to achieve the benefits of the synergies.
All thanks to the helping hands of this amazing Alumni community!

It is with a sense of delight and great anticipation that I greet President Dr. Lundie Richards, the members of the Secretariat of and the Manchester High School Global Alumni Network (MHSGAN) and indeed all our alumni members across the globe. I commend this awesome initiative which started May 22, 2021 with the purpose of strengthening and enhancing bonds between all alumni groups and Manchester High School.
The challenges brought on educational systems across the world have amplified the need for strong partnerships as we seek to change the lives of our young people, preparing them to have the best educational experiences and outcomes against the background of the current global realities.
Undoubtedly, Manchester High School is a formidable force in the local and international educational landscape. Among our rich legacies are the achievements, brilliance and philanthropic fervor of our alumni members. The support for the school through the years in areas such as students’ welfare and academic support, sports, mentorship, development projects and creative ideas has been priceless.
The idea of a Global Network is yet another creative thought that will be the standard for alumni groups in Jamaica.
I encourage all members of the network to stay committed to the cause as it has never been about us, but rather the lives in our care who desperately seek for a meaningful pathway in life. Let us therefore be patient and not easily discouraged or frustrated in the process!
